For the most accurate impression, I recommend:

• Viewing it upright, in the position where the artwork will hang
• Observing it throughout the day as natural and artificial light shifts

Colour and tonal depth can appear very different when viewed flat on a table. Wall placement offers the clearest sense of how the artwork will live within your space.
