ABOUT MOONSCAPES


Moonscapes are atmospheric works exploring lunar form, quiet rhythm, and the experience of return.

Each piece centres around a softened moon form, suspended within layered fields of colour. Through subtle shifts in tone and gradient, the work creates a sense of depth without structure - inviting the eye to slow, wander, and rest.

Rather than depicting the moon, these works respond to its presence and rhythm. They are created to settle a space and encourage a more contemplative way of seeing, where time feels gentler and attention turns inward.

Each Moonscape also carries a single handwritten style poetic line - minimal, unobtrusive, and quietly held within the composition. This line acts as a gentle anchor: a mantra, a remembering, a frequency held in language. Unique to each artwork, it offers a point of return - something to live with, rather than read.
MATERIALS & PROCESS


Each Moonscape is created slowly by hand through a layered, intuitive process.

Soft gradients are built gradually, allowing colour to shift and blend without hard edges or fixed boundaries. Subtle variation is intentionally retained, giving each work its own atmosphere and quiet presence.
